MAKEOVER

DO you every have one of those days where you just want to change something about yourself, or house, or etc.....

HAIR
It all started with My New haircut. Remember how I wanted this, well, I'm still trying to style it, get the bangs to hang the direction I Would like and well we're working on that change.

Beside isn't January just a good time to DO something new.

So my closet is clean...L's closet has a "baby boy section". Of course it consists mostly of Erika's discount wipes and Newborn diapers on sale, but it does have a really cute pair of overalls. I am still at a lack to know what you put on a newborn in Texas in the summer...say... nothing? That's what miss L wore too.

FOOD
Since I am not on one of those skinny January diets (never been) or expansive January exercise routines (this one I am guilty of) well I am trying to cook new things. I like all kinds of things, ethnic foods, and today particularly meat... but it seem like week after week... okay it has only been two weeks since Christmas, but I cook the same thing. Doesn't help that L doesn't really care, and would probably prefer PB&J or that Gary now eats at least half of meals provided by drug companies.

Any ideas of yummy HEALTHY dishes with no milk in them (cheese is okay, cream of mushroom soup is not) the woes of living with a very cute, intelligent, lactose-intolerant boy. Any salad recipes, ...I really love a good salad. Too bad I am supposed have to live without bleu cheese for a little longer.

STYLE
In addition, I want to look nicer. I fall guilty of being one of THOSE "pony-tail" girls way too often, but this new haircut has inspired me, in fact my hair is down as I type and styled.....impressive for a Friday, Inspirations also include my new maternity clothes thanks Christmas, and maybe these shoes, thanks Leslie. I also kinda like looking pregnant. Is that so wrong? When I am prego...I feel like I NEED a new wardrobe (which I don't), not thrifty, and very cute when I am pregnant.

I need some new looks, that of course MUST go with a expanding face and expanding belly. At least I have the feet and hair that should stay relatively the same for a while.
Maybe I will splurge and get some knee-length black boots that I have been craving. I have a great maternity dress to wear with them already, although somebody wore it last week at church...don't you HATE that (that is why I did not buy the shoes Leslie, although I was sorely tempted).

So, in short I am in the process of giving my house, myself, my diet a new makeover. Maybe I'll really get wild and give my blog a new makeover too.

hey pam, they come in 2 other colors, and you should totally get them! if they have any left, that is. :) such a steal, & i needed some red dress shoes. and those primary kids might not even notice if we both wore them on the same day.

hey, do you want some of miles' outgrown stuff? it's just sitting here . . .
he was born in august, so he wore onesies and little cotton pants every day.
and i do have a yummy non-milk recipe. it has mozzarella cheese. i'll email it to you. i'm making it tomorrow. i'd invite y'all over, but the bowmans are already coming. :)

I'd love Miles outgrown stuff and your recipe. I am in need of new food in my life. (But I did make a really yummy pork roast today, I'll have to post it sometime)
