On the bike again

We had a bike stolen over Christmas break, so getting to school this week has been rough for lil' G. We finally broke down Saturday and bought the one meant for his birthday/ kindergarten present a few months early....and we're back.

This little man moved up from the bike trailer to bike seat. Love the helmet, reminds me of this.

Kingwood Half Marathon

This was my first half marathon, I have really enjoyed the training for this, my neighbor Amy (who is running the Houston one next week) have been getting up twice a week too early to go run since October.

The weather was supposed to be horrible and rainy, but it ended up being cool and drizzly, perfect for running.

My Stake president and his 2 sons, and daughter ran, as well as another friend JoAnna, and the first councilor in the Stake presidency (whose kiddos I teach piano to) It was really fun. My time was 2:02 which I was happy with.

The medals were 1.1 pounds, my kids have had fun playing with it, but I think it will have go in the trash when my children discover its capabilities as a weapon. The marathoners got 3.3 pound medals.
