Lately....

We have been super busy.. Lily had her "bugz play", Gary had oral boards...4 hours of questioning by attendings, and I had to chaperone a stake dance for my church. I haven't stayed out and up that late in a while. Also, Aunt Marvia and Uncle Terry came to visit. It is also blackberry season, we have already had 2 blackberry cobblers and a blackberry slushy. I need more blackberry recipes.

We had a gorgeous weekend and I am trying to stay outside as much as possible before the heat kicks in.

Blue bell fun run

We had so much fun at the blue bell fun run today, lily ran the 1-mile, with a time of 8:03, top 7-year-old girl....I ran the 5k, with a split of 8:26, lily creamed me. It was gorgeous, rolling hills and bluebonnets everywhere. The boys cheered us on and ate the all you can eat free bluebell ice cream.

We stopped at Snow's BBQ on the return, which Gary had been wanting to try.

Why I don't have pets

Because this man performs the same destruction.
