Family business

We may have pulled Lily out of school early to earn money for the family business... The corner of grandmas is across from the school.

Daddy only gets out of work early once in a blue moon.

Beehive

On our riverbank we found a log across the trail from a tree that had recently fallen. Inside most of the length was a swarming beehive. Lil' g was in heaven.

Got the anticipated 10ft chainsaw and the anticipated "Comer's chocolate cake"

BYU vs Utah

I am getting old, it is almost 10pm and I want to go to bed. But it is the BYU vs. Utah game, and we are watching it as a family....here is our status:

Hope this game has a lot of action, because I am fading fast.

It's raining in Texas

Our Lemonade stand from this summer, she earned $7, thanks to grandma's marketing.  Grandma bought the comcast guy a lemonade, and then he came and bought two more cups. The price was "50 cents or more...whatever you like"

Catching tadpoles ...now our pets

Enjoying the cool weather by camping outside.... It lasted until about 9:30 until people got tired and scared.

Labor day beach party

Headed to Stewart beach with a few families from church.... Parked right on the beach, so baby could take him nap, and there was no seaweed, yippee. For those two reasons and the fact it was a gorgeous day, it is my new favorite beach.

Sunday evening

Not doing much today, just hanging with my lovely family. And making chocolate lava cakes.... A good bribe for cleaning rooms. Plus they are Gary's favorite.

Today I am grateful for the opportunity to worship. To just attend church and feel renewed spiritually is a luxury I hope to never to take for granted.

Back to school dinner

Our theme this year is "be a friend"... We read from the strength for the youth on friendship. We had miss l's favorite, spaghetti.
