This is what was in Miss L's stocking yesterday. It is written starting in the middle, going down, and then up.

PS. Santa saw the note and was obliged to wait a day so her daddy could see her open her presents.

Miss L knows who gets the whole Santa concept this year and conseqently so does Lil' G. It has been fun to get them excited.

Ballerina Birthday

Miss L had a blast at the party on Saturday. I think her favorite party was wearing a tutu and twirling in front of the mirror.

Miss L and I have been looking forward to this for weeks. We had so much fun prepping for this party. We made candy lollipops of ballerina slippers on Tuesday and then cut out ballerinas for our decorations.

We cleared out the family room and put a mirror in front of the fireplace for our dance floor. Then we got a girl from out ward who is a "real" ballerina to come teach a little dance in her pointe shoes. She was so beautiful to watch in those shoes. She put "real" make up on the girls and taught them arabesques, chaines and many other dance word that I have failed to remember.

Then we had the usual games, ballerina musical chairs, cupcakes, presents, decorating the dance program, and a performance at the end for the parents.

She's 5!!!!

I love this girl. I can't believe it has been 5 years. Where has time gone. She is a wonderful, creative, thoughtful daughter. She is a spit fire, a leader, and a wonderful singer. She has a gigantic imagination and is always on another adventure with her brother.
