Just pluggin' along

Weather has been splotchy. We have had fun at the park on nice days and tea parties with daddy on yucky days.

Couple more weeks to decide our fate in life...if we move or stay, plus a new baby. I am surprisingly calm. I have just had too much to do.

Today was clean out the garden (another bunny nest), caulk the tub, fold laundry. Tomorrow is a another long list of stuff to get this house ready to sell or not sell, plus several hours of piano lessons. It is nice to have Gary home, even if he studying most of the time, especially during my piano lessons. He starts class again on Monday, and his big boards are next Friday, then just a few more weeks until match day....

Valentines

We had a fabulous Valentines' weekend. I had kinda a blue week, probably pregnancy hormone related, but it all changed Friday when I received a package for Japan from this fabulous sister with plenty of Sembai (yes I have eaten a whole package already) and Japanese Poky sticks, valentines heart barrettes, for Miss L and this book from my mom. I felt very loved and I needed that this week especially. Here's the loot.

Saturday I finished these sugar cookies for the Primary and Young Women leaders without the help of the kids (I was determined if they were for someone else the kids couldn't put their fingers in them. Then Saturday night, Gary and I got a babysitter (who made cookies with the kids and valentines for us)...I love her, and we got to go to the LDS temple here.

Today was a relaxing Sunday with a great dinner, pine-nut couscous, green beans, sour-dough bread, pears, and Honey-glazed ham, compliments of the gift I got Gary...a blow torch (really for pottery, but works great for creme brulee and ham too). We played at the park and watched home videos. What a nice day.

Miss L and Little G helped me make chocolate- covered strawberries.

This week

Learning how to clear his breakfast dishes...got a little on his head.

These giant suckers are from nursery. Miss L was not too happy about not getting one.
This is our favorite pasttime since I taught preschool on music. We put on our dancing outfits and dance to Mozart sonatas. I have ballet shoes too...from back when I took Irish dancing classes in college...

Toy buckets fit children too.

My cute boy.
This is about all I want to do these days. This guy spent all day painting for me yesterday. Miss L has learned to take pictures. I just have to remind her a few times this week that she cannot take them when I am taking a shower.
