Wednesday was a crazy day.
I was really feeling the desire to go to the temple this week. Wednesday was our ward's fill the temple day so Tuesday night I prayed hard that Baby B would sleep well that night, and the kids and I got up early and met Gary at seminary (he is currently the seminary teacher). Then we headed up, with some still in pj's and the house not nearly as neat as it should've been and headed to the temple. It was wonderful.
On the way home we decided to head up 290 for a quick photo among the bluebonnets. Of course we got a call to show our house on the way... did I mention we were listing our house? Anyway, you have 3 hours from the time they call to have your house picked up and knowing the state of the house that morning (not dirty, just not picked up or vacuumed, we needed at least 1 hour). So the stress began to find bluebonnets (there were NONE). I was giving it 5 minutes and then we had to turn the car toward home.
Miss L quickly said a prayer that we would find bluebonnets, and with the faith of a child, we topped the next hill and there they were. I can't say I was instantly calm, probably from the pictures you can tell that Baby B and Lil' G had to be woken up, but we did get some and it will be a fun memory for the future.
We did make it home with 45 minutes to spare and a did get our house clean...
