This weekend was a busy one with Gary's brother here.
We went the local alligator park where it was mating season and saw many very big alligators and a turtle laying his eggs.

Then Saturday we went to Nasa, which was very fun. They had a lot of museum-type displays, a huge play center for Miss L with slides, balls, a shuttle ride to the actual "mission control", and of course freeze dried ice cream. This was one of those things we wanted to do while in Houston, and was worth going to. Here are a few space shuttles and a really cool astronaut.

We went to the Galveston beach afterwards. I had to make due with a large shirt to cover my belly, because I couldn't justify buying a maternity swimsuit for one use. It was very fun to play in the waves and build sand castles, although Miss L got a little cold, actually started shaking, but of course didn't want to stop. I made her put her warm clothes on, but by the end they were covered in sand and water.
