Camping and fishing at Lake Livingston

Camping with the kids last weekend, they definitely had a blast. It was a lot of work for me and I didn't get much sleep because of the drunken neighbors next to us who were up until 4am. Definitely had my fill of camping food, s'mores, Dutch oven cherry cobbler, foil dinners, egg omelet and bagels on the camp stove, and the best BBQ of my life on the way home. Glad we went, and the kids have looked forward to this for weeks.

Blue skies everywhere except our house, kids love rain showers and since they will be in the tub in 20 minutes anyway.

Quick trip to Indiana

So great, just took the baby and went for the weekend.

Family business

We may have pulled Lily out of school early to earn money for the family business... The corner of grandmas is across from the school.

Daddy only gets out of work early once in a blue moon.

I realized most of my picts are of this guy, but I know how quickly this stage will pass.

Beehive

On our riverbank we found a log across the trail from a tree that had recently fallen. Inside most of the length was a swarming beehive. Lil' g was in heaven.
