Making Homemade Pasta

My sister's husband makes this, and we had a lot of fun doing together today. I think if I had a real pasta press I would try again, but you just can't get it flat enough with a rolling pin, and texture for me is everything with noodles. Still a fun project with the boys.

Memorial Day

After a very busy on call week, our family spent a quiet Memorial Day home, relaxing, swimming, and exploring the riverwalk. Just our family, and we needed the one on one bonding time.

Our ride to school

Miss L is in pink and I am in purple, pulling Baby B in bike trailer, don't quite know where Lil' G is. We do this twice a day. Morning is great, Afternoon is like 103 outside.

Today Lil' G hit a tree. I don't even know quite how. But I couldn't help but laugh. He got pretty banged up. His bike is only a foot of the ground, and I told him I would put him in the bike trailer so he would not hit another tree, but he begged to keep riding "SLowly" and look out for trees. They grab you.

My latest project

Got this little cedar chest free, needed some painting and new upholstery, but for $11 (fabric) I think it turned out okay. Gary thinks the fabric is a little crazy, but I really like it.
