Memorial Day

After a very busy on call week, our family spent a quiet Memorial Day home, relaxing, swimming, and exploring the riverwalk. Just our family, and we needed the one on one bonding time.

Our ride to school

Miss L is in pink and I am in purple, pulling Baby B in bike trailer, don't quite know where Lil' G is. We do this twice a day. Morning is great, Afternoon is like 103 outside.

Today Lil' G hit a tree. I don't even know quite how. But I couldn't help but laugh. He got pretty banged up. His bike is only a foot of the ground, and I told him I would put him in the bike trailer so he would not hit another tree, but he begged to keep riding "SLowly" and look out for trees. They grab you.

My latest project

Got this little cedar chest free, needed some painting and new upholstery, but for $11 (fabric) I think it turned out okay. Gary thinks the fabric is a little crazy, but I really like it.

First Day of School

This is Miss L so excited on her first day. A little bit of a rocky week so far, definately an adjustment. A few tears. We'll get there though.

This Week

It has been a really tought week. But it getting better. So glad my family is healthy and happy.

Sneak Peak #2

Phase #2 Complete....backsplash. All that we have left to do is pick colors and paint walls. I am not rushing, like probably waiting for Lowe's to have Paint on Sale at Labor day, it but it definately the easiest of the 3, I am getting excited to be done.
